Two Marineflieger Tornado IDS aircraft will be appearing at the 2004 Air Show. They both belongs to Marinefliegergeschwader 2 (MFG2, Naval Air Wing 2), based at Eggebek in Northern Germany (near the Danish border). This will be one of the last ever displays by the MFG2 and Eggebek air base is scheduled for closure in the near future. One of the aircraft at the show this year is The German Navy Solo Display Tornado. This aircraft will be demonstrating a series of high-class tactical manouvres during a 13min flight phase.

This wing is the only Tornado Wing in the German Navy Air Arm and is comprosed of 3 squadrons. This Wing supplied the Navy Tornado that appeared at the 2001 Salthill Air Show. (Pictured below)
