Carolyn grew up in Salthill becoming one of the most respected business women in that area.  She has been involved in the hotel and catering industry all her life and has provided a vital service to the framework of Salthill over the years.  She has been director of the Salthill Festival since 1984 and a key player in the organising of the Salthill Air Show.  A member of Salthill tourist and development association (S.T.A.D.A.), she has worked tirelessly and given her time generously to further the social development of Salthill.  Carolyn welcomes the continuing development of Salthill and looks forward to working with the new business community. 

 
Brian McGrath - Air Show Organiser 

Brian who is a keen aviation enthusiast has been organising the Air Show for the past eight years and has learned that you never take no for an answer.  Over these years he has brought some of the most spectacular and modern aircraft to Salthill and has turned this Air Show into the biggest in Ireland.  Brian works in Tom Hogan Motors in Galway, he is married and has two children.  David and Gillian 

 
Tony Gibson - Airshow Director 

Tony trained and qualified as a Military Air Traffic Controller Officer with the Air Corps in 1980.  Since 1990 Tony has been the Senior Air Traffic Control Officer at Galway Regional Airport.  His keen interest in aviation has involved him with events such as the Galway Races, Shannon Expo and The Salthill Airshow as Show Director for the past 4 years.  Tony hails from Dublin and is married with 3 daughters Gillian, Louise and Audrey.
