    History (ÉCOLE De Transition Opérationnelle 00.008) 
    • 12 October 1963: formation of the 8th fighter wing equipmed with Mystère IV A
    • 23 April 1982: replacement by Alphajet
    • 31 July 1993: disbordment of the 8th fighter wing
    • 1st September 1995: the E.T.O. 00.008 takes over the traditions of the 8th wing
