A number of traffic diversions will be in place in Salthill on 
Sunday 1st July due to the Air Show.

Gardai will be diverting traffic away from the main Saltill thoroughfare at Kenehans shop, at the junction of Dr Colohan Road and Grattan Road, at the junction of Dr Mannix Road and Threadneedle Road, and at the junction of Threadneedle Road and the Promenade.

Diversions will also be in place at the junctions on Dr Mannix Road at Oaklands, Dalysfort Road, and Rockbarton Road.  All diversions will come into effect at 1pm on Sunday.

Gardai are also asking all drivers to remove their vehicles from the Promenade car park and the main road along the Promenade by 11am on the day.  Any vehicles parked in this area after 11am will be towed away.

Car parking will be available at St. Mary's College, St. Mary's Road and St. Enda's College, Threadneedle Road.  Drivers are advised to avoid the main road in Salthill as huge crowds are expected to attend the show.
